Dr Deepak Kumar
Dr Deepak Kumar, AuD specialises in audio-vestibular and provides expert care for individuals experiencing hearing loss, tinnitus, and balance-related conditions.
With over two decades of clinical experience in Ireland, Dr. Deepak has been working at the Royal Victoria Eye and Ear Hospital in Dublin for more than 20 years. He is also actively engaged in clinical teaching, having contributed to the training of medical and para-medical students at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
Dr. Kumar’s academic qualifications include a Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) from A.T. Still University, Arizona, USA; a Master’s degree in Audiological Science from University College London, UK; and a Bachelor’s degree in Audiology from the University of Mysore, India.
In addition to his clinical and academic work, Dr. Kumar has a strong interest in research. He previously collaborated with Professor David Kemp, renowned for the discovery of otoacoustic emissions, on a project investigating ‘effect of body position and pressure on the cochlea’
Ms Maira Alias
Maria is a dedicated Clinical Audiologist. She has completed over 6 years of education with first class in the field of Audiology. She has worked in the Royal Victoria Eye and Ear Hospital in Dublin, where she worked within a multidisciplinary team managing a wide range of adult and paediatric cases.

Ms Mona Sood
Mona Sood is a qualified Pharmacist with over 20 years of experience working in the pharmaceutical industry in Ireland. Throughout her career, she has developed extensive expertise in healthcare operations, quality standards, and patient-focused services. Seeking a new professional challenge, Mona transitioned into a management-focused role and joined The Audiology Clinic, where she oversees the overall running of the clinic. Her strong healthcare background and attention to detail help ensure the clinic operates smoothly while maintaining the highest standards of care for patients.
Ms Annette Beck
Annette Beck has been an integral member of The Audiology Clinic for over 15 years, working closely with Dr Deepak Kumar. As the clinic’s Receptionist and Patient Care Coordinator, Annette plays a key role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all patients. With a deep understanding of patient needs, she is highly attentive and consistently accommodates appointments and queries to suit each patient’s convenience.
